The event aims to inform the participating Moldovan stakeholders in the energy sector on the state of play of the EU-Moldova energy cooperation within the framework of the INOGATE programme in the field of electricity, gas and sustainable energy. The particular issues presented during the event include common activities in electricity & gas co-operation; EU experience in awareness rising on Sustainable Energy; experience of establishing SE Information Centres based on the Latvian Information Centre and with the view of establishing one in Moldova with INOGATE's assistance; clarifications of the implementation of the EU Directive's 3rd Energy Package with a focus on art. 27 and its implications for Moldova.
